Central Columbia School District (CCSD) encompasses approximately 80 square miles and draws it’s 1,900 students from one borough and six townships in Columbia County, Pennsylvania. A total of three schools (high school, middle school and elementary school) and a district office service the District. This project includes a combination of ground mount and rooftop arrays at the high school and middle school and district office locations. Collectively, the solar arrays will offset 90% of CCSD’s annual power consumption. CCSD has been extremely enthusiastic to proactively implement solar and leverage it as a student educational tool.
