Solar at an affordable housing complex

Henrico Arms Apartments is an affordable housing complex outside Richmond, Virginia. Before the solar project, it went through a low-income housing tax credit redevelopment.

It is one of a group of solar projects SRE did with Silver Street Development Corporation. The group has arrays in four states: Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and Virginia.

How SRE sets up projects

SRE sets up projects three ways, built around each client's tax position. They are direct ownership, a power service agreement (PSA) and a power purchase agreement (PPA).
