Where the money comes from

A business's return on solar comes from four places.

  • Savings on your utility bills
  • Cash from your SRECs, which we sell for you as a registered broker
  • State grants and rebates
  • Federal tax incentives: the investment tax credit (ITC) and depreciation, if you qualify

For businesses, we aim for returns well above market.

What a project like yours looks like

Our business clients' arrays range from 117 kW to 1,315 kW. Four arrays were bought under a construction (EPC) and purchase agreement, and one client owns its array directly. One uses a power service agreement, and one array was set up as community solar.

How our business clients set up their projects

You can own the array, or use a power service agreement (PSA) or a power purchase agreement (PPA). We set up each project around your tax position.
