506 kW of solar across the roofs of two buildings on Vartan Way, completed in fall 2022. It offsets 40% of their yearly electricity.
Vartan Group is a commercial realty firm in Harrisburg, founded in 1975. It builds, maintains and manages properties across the Capital Region.
Its two buildings at 2300 and 2330 Vartan Way house businesses from childcare to health services. SRE put 937 two-sided (bifacial) panels on their roofs. The arrays offset 40% of the buildings' yearly electricity.
SRE built the arrays on Vartan Group's two buildings, and the property owner bought them and owns them. It's one of the three ways SRE sets up a project, built around each client's tax position.
