Net metered: what it means
Municipal Road Solar Partners is net metered: power not used nearby goes back to the grid. Net metering is a billing arrangement with the grid, not one of SRE's three ways to set up a project. SRE sets up each project one of three ways: owning it outright, a power service agreement or a power purchase agreement, each built around the client's tax position.
