Projects

Solar projects for schools, towns, businesses and nonprofits

We develop, finance, build and maintain solar in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Virginia and D.C. Here are 33 of our projects, from a 40 kW roof to a 4,400 kW floating array.

Dots are sized by kW and placed near each project's town, not its site. Dots close together are spread apart so each one can be picked.

Dots are sized by kW. Towns close together share one dot, with its number of projects: tap it to see them in the list.

What each contract means

Here is what each word in the Contract filter means. We set up each project around the client's tax position and financial needs. Savings come from lower utility bills, SREC income, state grants and rebates, and federal tax incentives.

Owned by the client
The client buys the array, most often under one agreement that covers building it and buying it.
Power service agreement (PSA)
The array sits on the client's site, and the client gets its power under one long-term agreement, often 20 to 28 years.
Power purchase agreement (PPA)
The array sits on the client's site, and the client buys its power under a long-term agreement.
Net metered
Net metering is a billing arrangement with the grid, not one of our three ways to set up a project. The five solar farms on the list are net metered: power not used nearby goes back to the grid. Two are on land we own.
Community solar
Rhode Island Row, in Washington, D.C., was set up as community solar through the D.C. Sustainable Energy Utility's grant program.
Other or not stated
Two projects' own pages name no contract: Henrico Arms Apartments and Shore Hill Apartments. Lena Drive is our own headquarters.
